‘I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore’.
Said the character Howard Beale in the 70’s movie classic Network. I’m old enough to remember the movie and the character’s ‘breakdown’ on TV. Forty years on and so many of the things Beale was ‘Mad as Hell’ about are common place and accepted, but not by me.
I realise I am mad as hell about that and a whole host of other things and I am not going to take it anymore! I’m over 65 years old, retired and other than putting my ass in jail there is not a whole lot anybody can do to shut me up. I intend to have my say, as loudly and as publicly as I can and for as long as I can.
The real question is where to begin. There I’m spoiled for choice. Perhaps a Blog is the answer, we shall see.
